Charles "Chuck" Franklin
Regional Human Resources & Safety Manager

I am writing this letter on behalf of Pedro Stiassni, a student that I have had the opportunity to work closely with at Murray State University. Pedro has been instrumental in developing the Rugby team at Murray State.

One idea behind Sport Clubs at Murray State is to help build leadership and management skills in the students participating. It takes the ability to lead and direct a group of one's peers toward a common goal, while also working closely with the Administration. Pedro has demonstrated excellent leadership and organizational skills in the development of this program. Not only was he responsible for the development of the program, but also served as the Coach.

I have enjoyed the opportunity to work with Pedro and feel confident in recommending him. His dedication and work ethic will be an asset to any organization. If you should have any questions, please feel free to contact me.

Coordinator, Intra-Collegiate Sports & Recreation

It is my pleasure that I write this letter of recommendation for Pedro Stiassni.

For the past two years, Pedro has held the position of Publicity Chair on the University Center Board, which is responsible for creating and designing all publicity materials. During this time, he was entrusted with promoting major University events. This consisted of submitting a theme for the event that included all technicalities of creating graphic, design and promotion material that would successfully advertise our events to the campus population. Not only were Pedro's talent and dedication to his work a tremendous asset, but his ability and effort to complete his campaign in a timely manner was of equal value.

I am sure you would agree that publicity and promotion is the key to producing successful events. It is vital for an organization such as ours to have talented individuals such as Pedro who work to achieve perfection. In considering Pedro's: being from a different country and English his second language; his involvement with starting a successful Rugby program and participating; actively involved with a Greek organization and other organizations, Pedro fulfilled this vital role in a way few others have done. I strongly encourage your consideration of this talented young person as a true asset to your organization. If you would like additional information, please feel free to contact me.

Mr. Pedro Stiassni is a recent graduate of Murray State University with a degree in Environmental Technology. I know Pedro through his involvement and leadership in various student organizations and activities on campus. Pedro has been very active in a variety of student activities on campus. He took the initiative to organize our first men's rugby team at Murray State University. Through his leadership, our rugby team will be entering its fourth year of competition this fall. In addition, he has become very active in the Student Government Association serving as chairperson for promotions and publicity efforts of our campus programming board. Pedro is an excellent example of the high quality student that graduates from Murray State University. His involvement in leadership roles has been instrumental in helping to provide positive experiences for our student body. He is sincere, hard working, well organized, and very willing to accept a challenge. Pedro has a commitment to excellence in all that he undertakes. I believe he will make an excellent addition to your staff and recommend him very highly for the position for which he is an applicant.
